Past events: CIAR in Portugal and REHVA triennal conférence

16th Ibero-American Congress on air conditioning and refrigeration

 

The 16^th Ibero-American Congress on air conditioning and refrigeration (CIAR) took place in Lisbon (Portugal) on May 4-6, 2022, hosted by EFRIAC, the Portuguese association of engineers in this field. It gathered representatives of the refrigeration industry, including air conditioning, associations from South and Central America as well as from Portugal and Spain. Didier Coulomb was invited to deliver a keynote speech on the IIR’s views and actions on sustainable development.

 

REHVA Conférence

 

REHVA held its triennial conference in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from 23 to 25 May 2022, after its statutory meetings. Many workshops and papers were presented, mainly on indoor air quality and its compatibility with the energy performance of buildings. The President of REHVA and the Director General of the IIR signed a new partnership agreement, updating the previous one.
