2008 is called "Refrigeration Year" since it marks the centenary of the IIR and several national refrigeration associations. Numerous actions are planned in order to celebrate this event: general presentation, past events, events in The Netherlands.
In particular, an international conference was held on June 12, 2008 in Paris. Consult the presentations given by the various speakers.

IIR bookshop
An essential reference book was published in 2007: the first volume of the International Dictionary of Refrigeration comprises 4400 terms and definitions in English and French, allocated to 11 chapters.
