Summary

The paper introduces a simulator for fin-and-tube heat exchangers. A general steady-state and distributed-parameter model based on the graph theory is presented, which can describe different refrigerant circuits and quantify the refrigerant distribution in the refrigerant circuit and the heat conduction through fins. An implicit curve-fitting method is used to calculate the thermodynamic properties of refrigerants, which can speed up the simulation. With the help of technologies of database an visualization, the parameters for the simulation system can be input conveniently through the input module, and the simulation results can be output visually by the output module.
