Summary

In this article, the main performance indices of a methanol-active carbon heat-regenerative adsorptive reversible heat pump were defined from the viewpoints of simulation and experiment respectively. Based on the practical three-heat-reservoir model, the influences of various parameters were studied. The results can be used to guide the optimal running of the system. Research indicated that the prototype performance is satisfactory and the experimental results are close to those obtained using simulation.
