JOULE-THOMSON EFFECT FOR REFRIGERANT MIXTURES.

Author(s) : SOBANSKI R., KOZAK T.

Summary

IN VIEW OF THE LITERATURE AVAILABLE ON THE MEANS FOR INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF REFRIGERATING SYSTEMS USING A REFRIGERANT MIXTURE, THE AUTHORS HAVE DECIDED TO CARRY OUT A THEORETICAL ANALYSIS ON THAT ISSUE. BASED ON THE MAXIMUM RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE COMPRESSION OF THE MIXTURE, IT IS POSSIBLE TO DEFINE THE EXTREME VALUES OF THE JOULE-THOMSON EFFECT. THE AUTHORS HAVE CARRIED OUT A THEORETICAL ANALYSIS ON THE EXPANSION OF A FLUID MIXTURE, AND THEIR CONCLUSION IS THAT THE HYPOTHESIS PROPOSED SHOULD BE DEMONSTRATED.
