Summary

In this work, the influence of binder and curing process on magnetocaloric properties of bonded La(FexSi1-x)13Hy plates is studied. The epoxy resin, the poly-amide and the La(FexSi1-x)13Hy powders are mixed with aceton in different ratios. The hydrogen content, Curie Temperature(Tc),magnetic entropy change (?SM) and the adiabatic temperature change(?Tad) are investigated. When the plates are cured at 40 ? for 60 min,the ?Tad remains almost the same as the powders’. And the mass fraction of the binder is 2.5 wt.%.
