Summary

This work concerns an energy analysis of the cycle of a refrigerating machine equipped with two evaporators and a ejector expansion valve. In this cycle, the ejector is used to reduce the energy losses caused by the fluid expansion between the high and low pressure. Considered fluids are R134a and its substitute the R1234yf. The modelling results showed that hybrid cycle has a COP more important than standard cycle and it is R134a which gives the best performance. The effect of the condensing and evaporating temperatures on the performance of the system were also examined. Moreover, the modelling results showed that inserting an intermediate heat exchanger in refrigeration cycle hybrid is beneficial especially in the case of the R1234yf at high-temperature condensation.
