Application of the rotary-vane expander as the element of a refrigeration system.

Author(s) : GNUTEK Z., KALINOWSKI E.

Summary

The authors present their experience in this area. Theoretical results are discussed, including an analysis of the effect of design parameter variation on expander efficiency. Some experiments to be carried out are described. They conclude that rotary-vane machines are suitable for use as expanders in low-pressure gas refrigerating systems.
