Summary

The approaches of modelling of thermodynamic cycles of ejection systems based on mass, momentum, and energy conservation equations have been summarised in the paper. A close attention has been paid to solar air-conditioning systems. Own approach based on system and ejector performance characteristics has been proposed in the paper. Exemplary calculations for the case of R-123 system have been presented. General problems of modelling of simple ejection cycles have been presented in the first part of the paper. Cycle model of isobaric mixing in the vapour ejector has been presented in the first part of the paper (see the Bulletin of the IIR, reference 2009-0611). This second part deals with a method of calculation of the entrainment ratio U during mutual mixing and compression of vapour streams.
