Frisbee is a European-Union-funded 4-year project. It was launched in September 2010 and involves 26 partners including the IIR; the IIR is in charge of collecting data and the dissemination of research outcomes.
The aim is to provide new technologies in order to reduce the energy consumption and the environmental impact of the cold chain without reducing the quality and safety of foodstuffs.
