Résumé

As one of the solutions to solve the global warming problem, Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technologies became a major research topic. Carbon dioxide (CO2) hydrate utilization technique is considered as a practical application of the captured carbon dioxide. In this study, the performance of the lab-scale CO2 hydrate cooling system is evaluated by the experiments with tetrahydrofuran(THF). The change of hydrate formation temperature by THF concentration variation and CO2hydrate formation
phenomenon during transition region are observed. It is found that the higher THF concentration the higher operating temperature is obtained. It is also found that CO2hydrate frost layer is generated after the hydrate formation, which causes the reduction of the heat transfer rate.
