Étude expérimentale de différents dispositifs de détente dans un réfrigérateur domestique avec échangeur de chaleur à tube en spirale.

Experimental study of different expansion devices in domestic refrigerator with spiral tube heat exchanger.

Résumé

This experimental study presents the results of different expansion devices in a domestic refrigerator using spiral tube heat exchanger. The motive of the work to check the effect of different expansion devices on COP of a refrigerator. Present system using of air-cooled condenser in a domestic refrigerator is insufficient to remove heat from refrigerant vapour come out from a compressor. But subcooling and superheating processes are used for getting a maximum refrigerating effect, It is found that spiral tube heat exchanger is more effective than air-cooled condenser due to the less power required to drive the compressor. With the help of subcooling and superheating, one can utilize waste heat recovery in a domestic refrigerator using R134a refrigerant. Moreover, maximum COP use found on the capillary tube expansion device than the thermostatic and hand operated devices.
