Résumé

Communication présentée sous forme de poster lors de la conférence. A comprehensive district heating and cooling (DHC) system design is presented. Large-scale ground source heat pump (GSHP) with thermal energy storage system is applied in the DHC system. Normally, the compressor of a ground source heat pump works at a very wide range of compression ratios, and thus the annually overall performance is comparatively low. Through simulation evaluation, the annual cooling and heating performance of the ground source heat pump is enhanced by increasing the mean temperature of the ground and thus narrowing the work range of compression ratios. The hourly operation strategy of the heat pumps and thermal storage system is proposed to decrease the energy cost and match the tiered pricing of power consumption. In addition, heat pumps always work near the maximum efficiency point by utilizing the coordinated thermal energy storage system.
