Résumé

Experimental investigations for sorption and desorption behaviors in a fluidized bed have been carried out using composite organic sorbent particles, which are coated on a core material with the powder organic sorbent. The amount of sorption and desorption has been measured by utilizing a pair of dew-point meters placed at both inlet and outlet of the test section so as to elucidate the relationship between effective mass transfer coefficient and the fluidized bed behavior. It is found that mixing of fluid bed grows in intensity with increasing the air flow velocity passing through sorbent particles, as well as with decreasing relative humidity of the air through the fluidized bed. The sorbent mixings play an important role in enhancing mass transfer processes. The effective mass transfer coefficient increases with increasing the air flow velocity passing through sorbent particles.
