Since 1910, every 2 months the Bulletin of the IIR has provide a broad range of scientific and technical information on all refrigeration spheres: |

abstracts of new articles and books published in all parts of the world in all refrigeration domains, |
| |
|
a review article presenting the latest developments in a specific refrigeration domain or technology, |
| |
|
an "Agenda" section comprising major refrigeration events: congresses, conferences, training… |
| |

information on research performed by laboratories. |

In 2006, the paper Bulletin was revamped and a user-friendly interactive electronic Bulletin was launched. |
|

Innovation: in mid-2010, the IIR will set up a new information portal on its Web site (www.iifiir.org). This portal will comprise the IIR’s Fridoc database – which makes it possible to conduct searches and access all documents abstracted in the Bulletin– and a broad range of information: news, events agenda, directories, etc.
This portal will be linked to an e-mail alert system enabling IIR members and Bulletin subscribers to remain updated in a faster manner concerning new publications and refrigeration news. |

If you opt for the e-Bulletin in 2010, you will receive the first few issues in the current form in 2010, then as of September 2010 you will receive the e-mail Bulletin alerts tailored according to frequency and refrigeration field of interest parameters.
These alerts will comprise the current contents of the Bulletin (abstracts, review article, agenda, laboratory news) and also refrigeration news: events, technology, regulations…
