  Key IIR News
The IIR awards prizes during its Congresses held every 4 years and the Prague Congress in 2011 will be no exception. Download the application forms for the Gustav Lorentzen Medal, the Science & Technology Medal and Young Researchers Awards. For Young Researchers Awards, please send concise information – e.g. in the case of a thesis or a book written by the candidate, applications should comprise a short summary (1-4 pages) but not the full documents. Reviewers will request additional information (preferably in electronic form in the case of theses and books) if necessary.

  Fridoc database
  Fridoc is accessible online and constitutes the largest database entirely devoted to refrigeration and its applications (85 000 references). All members of the IIR can consult it free of charge.
 
 
  IIR bookshop
International Dictionary of Refrigeration The basic English-French: terms and definitions of the International Dictionary of Refrigeration was published in 2007.

Three other volumes with the terms alone matching the English and French versions were published in 2008 and 2009:
- the German volume (German-English-French: Terms)
- the Chinese volume (Chinese-English-French : Terms)
- the Spanish volume (Spanish- English-French: Terms) is hot off the press.
