Summary

IN THE HEAT BALANCE OF A COLD STORE PRIMARY LOSSES AND GENERATED BY THEM SECONDARY LOSSES WERE DISTINGUISHED. TO THE SECOND ONES THE HEAT EQUIVALENT OF THE WORKING FANS AND THE HEAT OF EVAPORATORS DEFROSTING ARE INCLUDED. IN THIS NEW CONCEPT, TO THE PARTICULAR PRIMARY LOSS A CORRESPONDING RELATED SECONDARY LOSS IS ADDED. IT MEANS FOR EACH ITEM OF THIS BALANCE THE TOTAL ENERGY COSTS, WEIGHT AND QUALITY LOSSES ARE CALCULATED. THE REAL COSTS CAUSED BY PARTICULAR PRIMARY LOSSES ARE OBTAINED AND THEY SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT IN OPTIMIZATION ANALYSIS OF THE TECHNICAL PROJECTS, ENERGY CONSUMPTION, WEIGHT AND QUALITY LOSSES. THE PROPOSED METHOD WILL TEND TO SOME INCREASE OF INVESTMENT COSTS, REDUCTION OF THE ENERGY USE AS WEIGHT AND QUALITY LOSSES.
